Setting a Budget Control cap
Monthly USD cap on upstream BYOK cost.
Open Dashboard → Budget Control. Set a monthly USD cap on the upstream cost HiWay is allowed to incur. Choose the two verdict thresholds (defaults 90% DOWNGRADE, 95% LIGHT_ONLY, 100% BLOCK) and pick alert channels.

Budget Control tracks what your provider keys get billed — not what you pay HiWay. The HiWay subscription is flat and independent.
